Battlefield 6 Launches Season 1 with Major Content Update
EA Games and Battlefield Studios have rolled out Season One for Battlefield 6, marking the first significant post-launch update. The season, set to go live on October 28, introduces new maps, weapons, and tactical modes designed to enhance the game's signature combined arms combat.
Blackwell Fields, a newly updated map set in a California airbase, features oil wells, burning fields, and expansive terrain tailored for large-scale battles. The season will unfold in three phases, starting with Rogue Ops, which includes a 4v4 tactical mode inspired by classics like Search and Destroy.
New weapons such as the SOR-300 Carbine and Mini Fix sniper rifle, alongside attachments like the Rail Cover, add depth to gameplay. Squad revives and new vehicles further emphasize teamwork and strategic coordination.
